"We are ecstatic about our house! Every detail of your work pleases us, and we have received nothing but compliments from our friends and new neighbors. The house’s exterior is wonderful to look at from any viewpoint in the vicinity but is particularly spectacular when seen from the Shevlin Park Trail just to the west – the line of the roof and the dark stucco eves against the honey-colored wooden siding are a delight to behold across the fields of Commons. It just invites you to come home! Gazing at the sky through the open circle you put over our main entry is a particular hit – it seems to have a spiritual affect on nearly anyone who does it. When we’re asked what it is, we reply, “Scott’s whimsy”!

The house’s interior is everything we imagined and more. Your sense of aesthetics is evident everywhere. You managed to convert the floor plan we brought you into a magnificent, comfortable place to live in – elegant in its simplicity and functionality alike. The kitchen and master bathroom are masterpieces in this regard as far as we’re concerned. The interior elevations change strikingly as one moves about the house – there isn’t a boring angle anywhere. The way the sun’s light plays through each room in the house as the day passes is awesome. The living room, dining room, and den windows capture the views of the mountains to the west perfectly – the vista from these windows is simply breathtaking.

Your pleasant personality, ability to listen and work with us, and savvy concerning design review made the entire building process a pleasure. Living in the house Scott helped us build is going to be sheer delight. We can’t thank you enough."
